Now that's pretty cool. The style of the bowl came out great. Just a little larger and you'll be in business! Thanks for sharing.

That bowl is beautiful! Also, I would say get the stand chromed. Shiny is always better!
The bowl and stand look great! To bad about the bowl, but if you bump it up a few inches it should be great!
Thanx for all the great replies!!!
I think I will make the bowl twice as big, and perhaps the ribs at the bottom a little bit smaller.
I don't want to damage the bristles of my brush to much.
and probably use the idea of AndrewJM of using a lib for the brush the rest on.
New package has arrived!!
Today arrived the holder for inside my shave gear cabinet.

I am way more pleased how it fits now on the cabinet wall, and the lid ontop just finished it of.
and last but not least, my new shavette made from a blue beard revenge shavette:

Sweet! Big thumbs-up from me, for such a fantastic job! :)
Amazing. I suddenly want a stand and bowl!
You should post or sell the cad file or whatever, when you're done!
Ivar, great stuff! Like all of it!
How hard is to program the files? And what's the cost of printing the objects? Thanks!
Double O
It is a bit difficult too say if it is difficult or not, it depends a bit on the complication of the design.
I have learned this during my education as a product developer, but still keep learning day by day.
The program i used is a more commercial program, but there are some free programms available, search for 'free 3d CAD program' or something like that. There are some which are easy to step into.
With the company where i order my product I pay per volume and type of material. For example the brush holder is about 8 dollars, and straight razor display around 40 dollars. The ceramic is cheaper per volume but you need a thicker wallthickness.
i can't mention the company where i order, but there are a couple online site where you can order your 3d prints.
Ha! I'm a new member here and I just saw this post today. A couple weeks ago I had a buddy of mine who is a genius and also owns a 3D printer make a 3D object of a shave brush and razor stand. He is in the process of printing it for me now. When It is completed I will post pics. It's a brilliant idea! You can basically customize it however you'd like and it's fully functional!
