Hey thanks. Thy were easier than i thought. Split to width out of board, cut board in half for thinnes with coping saw, sand thin down to size, cut to length, plane the convex curve, rasp the concave curve, finish by sanding together so they match. Then sand with fine paper. Drill holes wax pin together and shave! It smells amazing when im shaving. Some celluloid scales i like, those are the uggliest things i have ever saw. And we drag our fire hoses through mud gravel sand across pavement, they hold up too all that soo theyre for sure too rough, and then all that gets ground in em. So i would not use one for a strop!
