    Default My new lather bowl.

So I picked one of these up the other day just because I was curious if it worked and it does do a poached egg or "omelet" pretty well I got to thinking about it and went and got a second one to be a shaving bowl. I literally just made my best ever lather faster and easier than I ever have. Tried using the lid to see if it would work as a scuttle but it wasn't big enough for that.

The best part is it was $10 at Walgreens.

I have a very similar bowl, it was quite good for lathermaking, but a bit heavy, so i use it for my lunchtime soup, i also have a cup like iceni's but my need for a massive coffee cup has seen that go too, so now i have a ceramic bowl with a small spout, that is slightly larger than the cup that i use, it is unglazed and slightly rough on the inside, it was a few dollars at an op shop (thrift store/ charity shop) i have no idea what it was for.
I also have a marmalade container that i use at home, it is white with "marmalade" written on it in black, and it has a black lid.
