Nice job! Did you add any moisture wicking material?
No, My shave cave has through ventilation and I have had no trouble so far.

Nice job Richard
What is the one on the right end looks hugely long about 4" compared to the rest
Good eye! I am told that they were used more for hairline trimming...way back when, the hair arraignment was a sign of status. And, the handles of Kamisori were often wrapped with rattan or heavy linen thread.

On one hand they look like an unfinished straight razor and on the other look very primitive and cool.....snip...Well done. Where did you get the shadow box from? It is a work of art Richard.
Fun to use, and if you have shaved for a while with a straight, they naturally move to the proper angle to your face. They still have a bevel, just different than we are used to. Good steel was hard to get so they (Japanese) used a thin piece on their cutting tools and what we might call wrought iron for the body of them.
