Here is a picture of what I decided to use. The test tube rack works perfect. I did have to dremel the hole out of round to accommodate larger blades. I also have the magnets to hang a razor after use, leaving it a bit open to let it completely dry before putting it away.

Looks good Robini. I may have to try this eventually. I think one member that used a test tube rack just made a small notch for the spine if the blade to fit in.
Here is an idea that I have used for both man cave and retail antique store selling. The photo does not show razors. Get the taller "Florists' frog." They usually are about 4-5 inches in diameter.
They can hold quite a few straights. with the wedge end up.
