These are both prototypes that were sent to me by Dr Chris Moss... The scuttle was one of the early prototypes that would also hold a puck in the bottom and the brush is one of the prototype variable loft brushes that Chris and Bernd from shavemac made...

If that's a prototype it must be the one they settled on because I have a Moss Scuttle about 7 years old that looks the same as that just it's slate grey. I don't know about the puck in the bottom though.

It is one of the early prototypes and when Chris Moss himself gave it to me he said..this was a deeper version of the scuttle so that a puck of soap could be pressed into it and used in place of a shaving cream - but still works equally well for keeping your brush full of shaving cream lather nice and warm

Chris told me that there were 2 of the prototype scuttles like this made. He still has one and I have the other.
