The ones I am referring to were made of wood. Blade and all. My kids are 8 and 7, so it truly needs to be a toy, unable to cause any damage. Unless they jab it into their eye or something.
This is the thread from last year.

just grabbed my shavette as mentioned earlier and removed the blade, i then persisted to try and injur myself in a childs mannor, gouging, slicing (very hard), stabbing, and scrapeing, the only thing i got was weird looks from my dog and family, it really it safe and has no points on it, also as mentioned you can give them blades when they are older.
;) hope this helps

Might have to make some of those myself when I find the time. Sell them at the local markets and get people thinking about using a real razor again...:). Also get the younger generation indoctrinated into straight shaving early in life...:D

just a sample
Not enough time this year but maybe for next year.
This is a sample just put together with micro fasteners. Maple blade with alder scales 6/8, 1/4 hollow shoulder-less grind. It is a little fat at the pivot, need to work out the bugs.

There are plastic razors for using with a depilatory cream.
