This works for me...
That is a really sweet setup you have. (But you NEED MORE RAZORS!)
I would be wary about storing razors in a closed space with brushes because of moisture. But I may be a little paranoid about stuff like that.
In a couple display cases on the wall. The rest are sitting in a cup.

Fancy fancy :)
I don't display mine, I have two daft moggies who get in to everything!
So I have to leave them stowed in a cupboard in the spare room.
I've got a fairly large collection of straights so I bought 5 sets of these darawers. They are intended for storing office supplies but the size and shape is ideal for keeping straights in. I line the drawers with some black, non slip matting and they work very well. I can fit 8-10 straights per drawer which gives me room for 200-250 straights.

Those are all great set-ups guys!:tu Thanks for sharing.
I forgot to add the safety razor. It's not a great picture but here's the full set up.

I hide mine. If my wife ever finds them, she'll find the sharpest one using the HHT and slit my throat in my sleep.
I have the same Cabbinet.:) (At the moment, it is much more filled)
Find your idea with the light cool.

SWMBO got fed up with my razors been all over the house and I wanted to put them on display. This cabinet holds 54 straights however I still have loads all over the house and garage so I will have to build another 1 or 2 shortly to accommodate the rest.
These razors have all been restored and are in my rotation. However now I have put them in this cabinet I will be a using them in order and not add hock like I used to. The cabinet has a glass door to it this is still waiting for the paint to dry then it will go on. This will have to wait as I am off to the Lake District for a camping weekend with the boys on the motorbikes. The cabinet below has my safety razors in it as well as some Leatherman’s that I used to collect before the straight razors got to me. Anyway hope you enjoy this at some point I will show you my hones and the rest of my collection.
DAMM thats nice Exile!
Have a few of these hanging around.

WOW! LOVE the box idea. reminds me of a completely unrelated idea i saw in college - a spanish exchange student who was a marketing major put color logos of each company next to their entry on his resume. added some color and creativity just like your display case. really good idea pixelfixed
I have my razors that are in rotation in this cutlery chest. My "non using" and "to be restored" razors are in other boxes, and cigar boxes around the place.

Such as it is, here is my occamage.
I have more on the way when I'm done restoring them.
I used an old CD rack that I found lying around and attached it to a plastic base with a groove in it to stop them slipping out.
When I showed SWMBO she said 'There are lots of spare spaces in there and that doesn't mean you have to fill them up'
My reply - 'yes dear'
I just hope she doesn't open that side of the cupboard anytime soon....hehehe
This is the first prototype and, I'm sure it will evolve.
Cheers,
Geoff
Hi All,
SWMBO recently came home with this little beauty and I decided to use it for razor storage.
It measures 8" high x 5" square and I thought it would work a treat.
The thing is that I have so far put 873 razors into it and there still seems to be plenty of room for more.
I don't understand.
Maybe someone here can explain it.
Cheers,
Geoff
+10. Great wit.
You blokes are all just too fancy pants for me. I just chuck the ones that I'm not using into the bedroom wardrobe. I think I'm beginning to see that it is really a hobby for some of you, and not just the best way to shave. Keep up the good work you hobbyists, you keep the decent razor companies going for the next generation...:tu

Cypress wood cabinet.
Thank you, I made it from a pepper grinder and added a push button LED light to the bottom shining upwards inside.
Holy cow! And I thought my Coleman addiction was bad!
Very nice.
I have a set of Vintage Lawyer bookcases in my room that has a shelf dedicated to my straights.....Once I get out of college, I suspect it will be more along the lines of 3 or 4 shelves within a year or 2 of graduating college and getting a job
Some really nice set ups there. I use an old CD/DVD/VHS storage unit:
