I guess to be fair, I didn't specifially ask for a refund or exchange. I just reported it to them and waited for the response. This happened a while back so I don't rember the exact quote, but it was something silly like, "Well that's odd." I didn't complain after that, but I haven't bought any other items from them either.
Never ended up with a stand and I actually went a different route in the end. I decided to make a shave den. So, I had a couple of custom built cabinets. One holds my brushes and creams and the other cabinet holds razors.
