Thread: Dovo Razor Stand doesn't fit Dovo Razor?

Don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but I recently purchased a Dovo stainless brush and razor stand that cost about $105. I have a Dovo 5/8" Desertwood razor that I wanted to put in it. However, as you can see from the picture it doesn't fit. It hangs about 3/4 of the way in. Anyone else experience this?

That stand is made for a DE razor, not a straight.

I lolled.

Unfortunate, time for a dremel perhaps to make pear shapes out of circles?

As the stand doesn't even fit a fairly standard 5/8, I'd consider it defect IMO. Check with the vendor. That stand I showed is $30 less as well.

I tend to agree, by maybe someone will say it doesn't matter. Seems like it would though. Then again, mine is two inches away.....

Does it not slot in from the bottom? It looks like that might work from what I can see.
