    As the stand doesn't even fit a fairly standard 5/8, I'd consider it defect IMO. Check with the vendor. That stand I showed is $30 less as well.

    My thoughts as well, which let me to checking with the vendor and the response I got was "I have to admit that is very odd." So, I guess I'm pretty much out of luck.

    On the ad link you gave us I've read this...

    Note: The razor opening will not accommodate the Dovo Bergischer Lowe, the Dovo Desert Ironwood, the Dove Ebony Bismark, or the Dovo Grenadille Flowing razors.

    Yours is a Dovo Desert Ironwood I presume?
