Thread: Wall-mount brush, bowl, and 7 day razor stand

Having a small apartment always leads to the same issue with material possessions: not enough storage space. After several browses around the board and on the inter-webs I came to the same realization each time. There is simply nothing available on the market to fill my niche. Not only did I want compact storage, I also wanted something unique and good looking. After several ideas I came up with a design that I thought might work. It holds seven razors, a shaving brush, and a soap bowl in a fairly compact unit. It has been designed to 'cup' the brush and bowl so as not to be knocked out with gentle nudges.The stand is made of Douglas Fir and has been coated with several coats of Varathane.I have several more mounting ideas such as wrought iron or stainless mounting brackets to hold the stand off the wall. It could even be adapted for a counter top. I may even try a hardwood, such as western maple, or white ash.Please, tell me what you think.
