Brush made by SRP legend and friend Pixelfixed
Offered for sale is a great brush crafted by a dear member who has since passed on. These literally aren't being made anymore.
It has a first band of jade green soapstone with a large (15/16) Ivory inlay, the second band is muskox horn, and the top is white streaked Buffalo Horn. The knot is a TGN, 24mm two band finest. With a loft of 49mm, overall height of 106mm and some heft and shape to it, it is a perfect face lathering brush. It has been my "Martin de Candre brush", but since I am forced to move slowly away from straights, I thought I'd offer it for one of you to enjoy. It defines "artisan".
It can be yours for $110 including shipping via USPS Priority, tracked and insured within the USA only. PayPal F & F is preferred. PM me with questions.

Bill was a master with exotic materials like ivory, ebony, etc. Sometimes I miss his cantankerous posts too. I hope he's in paradise covered in dust and turning some beautiful brushes.

I'm a newer member and have been lurking through old "what are you working on" posts at lunch. I've admired the work of pixelfixed and thought maybe one day I'd see if he'll make me a brush. Saw this tonight and checked it out. Sorry to hear he's no longer able to create his beautiful work. His artistry, skill, and knowledge are still being enjoyed thanks to SRP. My condolences to all of you who were his friend. Respect to a true craftsman.

Thanked: 4207I was blessed to join before his passing and really valued his comments on my builds. Helped me to evolve my finesse on things like brush turnings.
His craftsmanship, always top shelf! His criticism equally valued..
