Reminds me of New Year's Eve, 1976, when a whore-in-a-bar in Mannheim dosed me with Mandrax, and I spent the night puking in doorways, in the rain. Have fun, GI.

But tonight it's a glass (or two) of egg nog w/Jameson's and holiday fruit cake.

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Bulleit Rye Whiskey tonight. I don't know how the other parts of the world are looking but in the last few years there has been a significant increase in the number of Rye Whiskeys......I used to see 2 or 3 and now easily 10 or 12.......the prices go from rot gut to hoity toity. I stick with Bulleit.

Currently isolated from the mainland because of the storm and the packed ice. Winter sucks.
We've saved this bottle for special occasions and what could be the better place than this. Shot of Absinthe for me and wifey, enjoying time togrether.

Hard stuff it is. One is enough with 75% and two is absolute maximum.

My son gave me a shot of that a while back, which I sculled, I kept a brave face, but it near blew an eye straight out of it's socket.

Never tried the Bulleit Rye, but the bourbon is very nice.
