Default Here comes the lunch wagon

I saw there were both breakfast and dinner threads but I didn't see a lunch thread so I decided I'd start one.

Here's a good starter: New York style liverwurst and onion on rye with mayo and kosher dill spear.

Sorry, my mouth was working faster than the shutter. Already ate the other half.

Could have omitted the onion, and just put ramps on it. You'd have the best of both worlds, and better fiber.

Hey what's with the mayo, sacre bleu. You need some mustard and bacon on that baby.

Ooh that sounds good too. But in fairness mayo is traditional with a good number of people at least for liverwurst. Now if we were talking about a Cuban sandwich then mayo is sacrilege!

I've always used a good hot mustard, Keen's, with liverwurst.

Never mayo on a sandwich either but Miracle Whip instead.

Ok, I'm gonna lower the S.R.P culinary standards for today's lunch. My excuse is it's Friday and the cupboard is getting bare. I've really gotta get to the shop and put some food in the fridge...
