    Question Hard Root Beer

Anybody else tried some this year ???

"Not Your Father's Root Beer" is very Root Beer like I mean you almost feel like you could drop a scoop of Ice Cream in there

"Coney Island" is a little "Darker" and little more bite to the taste but still Root Beer

Pretty high on the Alcohol percentage and I hear the Father's is doing two special runs well above the 5.8-5.9% at 11.7% and 19.5% I haven't tried either of those yet ..

Fell across them by accident, was standing in line at the Super 1 on Fri and the guys behind me pop down some Six Packs so I started asking them about the stuff.. Sure enough Sat night the wife and I are out at a Charity benefit and the bar had some, so we tried it

One of the first ones out I never even saw back in 2013 "Sprecher" Hard Root Beer anyone try that when it was around ???

Haven't tried it but now that I know about it, I need to inquire at Bev'Mo or Total Wine & More here in SoCal.

Nice to see someone making something other than "hard Cider" which is being produced ad nauseum these days. The wife loves root beer so this might work for her.....and me!

Just picked up a six pack last weekend of the "Coney Island". The wife and I both like it very very much. I prefer a dark beer, but when I have a craving for something a bit sweeter it's great.

Just a couple weeks ago I had a friend give me a couple of the Not Your Father's root beer. Wow, it was really good. Glad he did, as I don't think I would have tried it otherwise. I like a very hoppy IPA but as a change of pace, it was very good.

Had some Not Your Fathers and it is really good. Just an FYI it does go good with ice cream.

I am hooked on Not your fathers root beer!
Nothing like listening to some tunes, hand sanding some blades and having a "root beer"
SWMBO does like it with ice cream.
Cooney Island is real good too...

My wife suggested and I didn't want to waste ice cream, think I will try a root beer float...

A lot of home brewers making it down here. Is very nice, but yeah you gotta be careful, easy to drink. Usually about 8%.
