Tea anyone ??!!

Preparing to brew my first Pu Erh.

The most intense tea I have ever drink. The taste is earthy and strong. Not for everyone. Ite tastes better than it smells.

That pu-erh looks great! The earthier the better.

I read that I can brew this tea 4-5 times.
Does this mean that I can brew it even after an hour or two? Or maybe 12?
Does it get different with the following brews?


Forgot to say that the brewing time was 8-10sec and this was the second brew, the first was only to wash the pot and the cup with the tea.

Maybe half the quantity of tea would be enough.
You can brew this tea 8-10 times. ....and you can continue tomorrow.
You can slowly increase the brewing time.

But it sure is good... I brewed my last batch for 3 minutes... Talk about earthy... Just like I like my cigars... :)

for me that is one of my 3 must haves, kinda like butter on my toast, and so forth, my tea cabinet contains at least 1 lb during the winter months, i drink quite a bit of it.

Thanks to the help here, I finally made a nice batch of iced tea. Not cloudy at all, and with a reduction in brew time, and the addition of a little extra filtered water, I got the taste to be just about perfect. The tea used was an Earl Grey. One of these days soon I should do a photograph or two of my own tea making. It's nothing fancy though. We're a bit uncooth in my part of the world :).
Well except for Carl, but he's an exception to the rule...;)

Slur, for better kung fu tea you need smaller tea pot (cca 100-150 ml) or gaiwan. ...it would be more fortunate.

Thank you for telling me this Bela.
I was searching through online shops to find tea pots of at least 200cc.
Now I realize why most of them contain 80 to 160cc.
I’ll find something around 120cc.

I tend to drink large quantities of tea daily, but pu erh is so strong that 120cc would be enough for a day.
