Enjoying a pot of Ahmad cardamom tea, and Phil, cut the steep time on it back to 3 minutes. It makes a difference I have just found out
What .....OOPS ! (Loud crash) ............... I'm OKAY !:dropjaw:
Well yeah and no I am getting extra money out of it and my co worker that I'm covering has whooping cough.........I do not need that in my life right now thank you very much .:)
Ive been curious steph, What exactly do you do anyway
I'd say everyone would be curious of what others do and how they live, I'd reckon. Inquisitive minds are ever growing and learning, and we would be a fairly diverse bunch of inquisitive blokes here, or else we wouldn't be...Here! :)

So, here goes:
The sencha is open but I don't have photos yet. It's very nice, though I would say that I preferred the last deep steamed sencha I had, which had a much more interesting, corny flavour. I also find it fairly hard to get a good first steep out of a deep steamed sencha—I kind of find that you have to steep it for longer than is generally recommended.
Anyway, what I do have pics of is the Miyazaki Baisen oolong. Yuuki-Cha recommend three ways of brewing—multiple steeps in a small kyusu starting at about 60 seconds; multiple, stronger steeps in a gaiwan; or steeped with more leaf, western-style for about 3 mins. Not wanting to use the kyusu that I steep sencha in, I used the stainless pot but I steeped enough for one cup for just over a minute:

I'd say that it has a nice deep flavour while actually being very light. Not at all bitter with an earthy (yet not smokey) tone to it.
potm. Some 2008 tiyang puerh straight from the cake, this is the first steep at only 25 seconds. I must admit that puerh from the cake has a very different flavor than What I have had before. Much more earthy and i like that.
