Well I have now moved into my house interstate, and started my new job... settled in as much as you can in your home away from home. But has anyone heard of a tea called Honeybush? I saw some at the store the other day, bought some but haven't tried it yet. From what I have read it is along the lines of the red 'tea' family.

When tea started to become more than a simple drink but an actual hobby I used to laugh with irony at the sight of aroma cups and other tea-specialist equipment. “What a silly thing” I used to say being absolutely sure that I would never buy these “silly things”.
And here I am now, testing the scent of Jasmin Chung Hao with my first aroma cup.

I really like the shape of your cup.
I'm preparing my next tea order. Trying to cut things out to keep the price down, otherwise it's coming to...like, 84 USD!
I want a roasted tea, this time—a hojicha or genmaicha—I'll probably get one of each and take one to work with me.
I want a new kyusu specifically for roasted tea; I think this one:

I also want another sencha. I was going to get two—a really nice fukamushi sencha from Kagoshima that I'd had before (in fact it was the first one I bought) and is still probably one of my favourites; also I'm looking at an asamushi sencha that, apparently, they have limited stock of and may not be available again this year but is also described as more of a 'traditional' tasting Japanese tea, which I thought sounded very interesting.
Considering that the second tea is cheaper, and that I'm still finishing a packet off deep-steamed sencha, I may ditch the first packet, in favour of something new—saving me $20—and buy that next time, instead.
EDIT: Looks like the 2012 harvest of that Miyazaki hojicha is all gone. There's only one other left in stock, from Kagoshima. I'll probably try that instead, if it doesn't go before I order!
