pineapple sage is a variant of the same plant, if you go to a green house you can by both plants
i think mine is turkish sage. it must do the same job though.
nightblade i think my first ever post on srp was on this thread haha. when you said you tried tea the English way with cream in it. i replied no one here puts cream in their tea to my knowledge. the cream stays on the scone!!!
when we order cream tea, it means normal tea and milk that comes with a fruit scone with cream and jam. (i think you call it jello or jelly or something though)
Okay..yeah I remember...over hear cream n sugar means the same as milk n sugar generally and jam is jam unless it's preserves or jelly. I am wholly familiar with clotted cream however and cream tea which I do like as scones are pretty much my favorite baked good.
I know several people that prefer to use cream instead of milk. Not having tried it myself, I'd imagine that the flavour is richer and, well...creamier. Surely can't be good for you, though.
I have used 1/2 n 1/2 before , but it's a bit richer than I prefer. That being said, when I indulge in something it's all rules out the window. What's the point of indulging if you tip toe yeah ? Bring on the fat and serve it on a platter cause daddy wants indulgence .
I'm pretty sure that's why God gave us clotted cream and sausages and pies and........
Half and half? Oof. That's a lot of cream.
It's okay for coffee more so,I used to know a canadian way back in the day who used half n half in his tea.It sorta muddies out the tea flavor. I prefer whole milk when doing milky tea.
