Time for some late night tea. Pearl jasmine in my "pain in the butt" gaiwan. Granted I like the way it looks, but for the life of me, I can't pour anything out of it without making a mess.

Yeah Steph, you're right. Believe it or not, I was going to use my little teapot, then poured the tea balls into the gaiwan. I figured if I never use it, I'll never master pouring tea from it. I do OK with my other gaiwan, this one just don't like me.

A Gongfu tea set usually comes with a tray to catch spills, which are normal...so no worries! :tu where'd you get that green gaiwan? Looks like one I was looking at on ebay :p

I picked that up last year from Dragon Tea House, but I just checked and they don't seem to have one anymore. It is a Ge Yao Ice Veins Celadon Gaiwan 100ml 3.38 fl oz. I did a google search and found one like it, but with a round edge instead of curvy. But, perhaps that is the reason of my pouring problem? Anyway, at 100ml, it's just a bit too small for me, even if I could transfer all of it's contents to their desired destination.
