Tea anyone ??!!

Here is the most recent delivery from Verdant Tea. As some of you know, I'm relatively new to the world of quality tea. But I have to say that I am very pleased with the ones I'm getting from Verdant. The flavors of their teas have much more depth than many of the others I have tried and most of it is sourced directly from a couple farmers in China.

I started my morning with a black tea that is completely new to me, Yu Lu Yan Cha. Its seems to be a rather unique process for the making of this tea. If you're interested, you can read more about it here even though they are a little vague about how it differs from regular black tea, Yu Lu Yan Cha Black | Verdant Tea . The flavor is exactly as they describe it. The first wallop of flavor is that of chocolate. Right behind that is the full flavor of sweet potato and there is a looooong finish of honey that hangs around on the palate for the next 30 minutes. This is a wonderful tea. I'm glad to have purchased it. I'm on my fifth infusion and it seems to have several more in it.

Wow. Now that's a nice looking cup of tea. I just hope all of you are enjoying this as much as I am lately.

I've been enjoying so many of my Chinese teas I thought I'd change it up with some earl grey today. Adagio's earl grey has a real wallop of bergamot and lemon peel.

I have been on an Iron Goddess Oolong Jag lately and I have to say I am really getting to prefer Oolongs over Blacks as of late. Time will tell but the Iron Lady is sweet to me.And Milk Oolong is one of my all time joys to drink. Course these Oolongs ain't cheap but, the longevity in brews and the less seems to be more ratios and quality more than makes up for that.:angel:

My limited knowledge about tea suggests that the Hand Picked Spring Tieguanyin that I've been drinking is an Iron Goddess Oolong. If so, I can see why you've given in to it.

I believe it is. I too am in uncharted waters with Chinese teas for the most part.But I do Know I like the Oolongs. I may venture into some Greens here. Currently roaming the net looking for best priced quality Chinese teas. There are a lot of vendors out there. I'll take suggestions.
