Hey All,
I was wondering if any of you use Bay Rum. Do you have a brand you prefer? Any thoughts on its use would be greatly appreciated.

I use bay rum almost exclusively. I just like it and I'm not much on the designer scents. Here's a couple of threads you might enjoy.

Ditto, now prepare yourself for BRAD, bay rum acquisition disorder. :)
Like the scent of Bay Rum but it will vary by brand. I have some Ogallala and Col. Conk; both are great soaps, both have nice scent but scents are different.
Whoooops! Thought you meant shaving soap...Sorry!
No shortage of info on Bay Rum around here :) Howard provided a couple great links for you.
My favourites are Dominica, Royall and Clubman. I was able to sample Ogallala once and it was very nice but hard to find in Canada.
I've tried a few but have settled on Captains Choice as my preferred bay rum. The scent pleases me and seems to have a more traditional bay rum scent. Plus it has a few goodies in there to make your skin feel good once the initial burn subsides. I like Ogallalla Sandalwood but it doesn't seem to be a traditional bay rum. Plus,I prefer the alcohol base of Cap Choice. Give it a try.
Ogallalla sampler pack is pretty good deal, and the soaps ain't shabby either.
This thread has a ton of them and reviews

Happy hunting

Agree that Ogalla sandalwood bay rum is great.
Master bay rum from Sally's beauty supply is very nice, easy to find and inexpensive.
Captain's choice and Clubman are good also.
The bottom line is that if you like bay rum, they are pretty much all good - just some are more gooder than others - a matter of personal preference - and trying a new one is half of the fun.
Thank you all. Much appreciated
I Mostly use clubmab Bay Rum.
I have made my own bay Rum which is worth it if you can be bothered.
