Thanked: 49Proraso Red Aftershave!
I'm sure some of you are aware, but i'm very excited that Proraso has finally put out an aftershave to accompany the other products in the red line. I've been waiting for this almost as long as I've been wet shaving(that's really only a couple of years).
Now with pre and post covered we can finally complete a proper Proraso Sandalwood trifecta. I've been using either AOS or St. Charles Shave AS which are both quite good, but I can't wait to try this.
In other Sandalwood news I understand that Fine Accoutrements has developed a soap and AS splash based on AOS's
Sandalwood shaving soap. It's called Santal Absolut.
This has been your Sandalwood minute.Last edited by tedh75; 06-27-2016 at 11:22 AM.

Thanked: 14To my nose, Proraso red products are closest to the smell of sandalwood essential oil (santalum album, east indian) of all the soaps and creams I've tried.
I just checked italian barber to no avail, I imagine they'll have it by the time I place the order I'm planning.

Used this today and I really liked it. I got it from Maggard Razor, showed up fast. It's got a little burn but not bad. Scent is pleasing and not too strong, seemed to fade about mid morning. This will be a regular for me.
