What's the Best aftershave
I bought some Aqua Velvet aftershave recently at the local drug store but I'm not sure I like it the smell is a little potent and stays with me for half the day. I'm not a big fan of large smells, the soaps I have for shaving actually have enough for me, but I do like the feeling the aftershave is giving me. What's the best aftershave you all have tried out and what's the worst?
What's the best aftershave?
Hello, thlipsis:
Such an aftershave does not exist, since fragrance is reliant on personal taste. The best aftershave, therefore, is that which the person wearing it chooses for himself.
My favorites are Spanish Leather, both by Truefitt & Hill and Trumper's, Woods of Windsor, Pashana original, Taylor of Old Bond Street's No. 74 Victoria Lime, Caswell-Massy's No. 6 (apparently created for President George Washington) and the traditional Pinaud Clubman.
These are the best — for me.

Obie

Hello, exarcher:
I am curious to know what brand of witch hazel astringent you use that smells like moonshine. I use Thayers Super Medicated witch hazel with Aloe Vera and detect no scent. Some witch hazels do smell like moonshine, you're right, but not this one.
