The trick I used to fight irritation was to use the same Avon Moisture Cream my mother used. Every time I'd drop by to visit Mom had an extra jar to send home with me. I'd use it after shaving, use it again at night if my face was still irritated, and avoid shaving on Saturday. Nothing else worked. Those Fusions are for the birds, and unsuspecting suckers like I was when I didn't think there was an alternative.
A DE razor solved my problem, but I wanted to use straights. It took me a whole lot more than four shaves to master it but I really enjoy the experience and the results. My face and I are on speaking terms again.
