Proraso Pre/After shave cream
Just ordered my first tub and awaiting arrival. Any thoughts or comments? My plan is to put it on when I step out of the shower, then let it sit while I get my stuff ready, and then lather over it, and apply it again when I am done. Is this an ideal method of use? Anyone have any experience using it after you shave? Does it leave a sticky or gummy feeling? Thanks for the comments!

It gives nice cooling effect when used after the shave.
Make sure to put it on wet face (after cold water splash) and use very little product, that way it won't leave sticky residue.

Personally I only use it before a shave. My tub says only Pre btw.

Hello, asj,
It's been years since I last used Proraso. When I did, it was always as a pre-shave, although it can be applied both before and after the shave. When you apply it as a pre-shave, try not to take too long before you apply your lather. You want to lather on a moist face.

Thanked: 485Hi there,
I always use Proraso pre-shave, I find it excellent, I love the fresh feel. I put it on just as you describe; after the shower, then I make my soap or cream, then lather over the top. I used to use it as a post shave treatment too, but I now have the Proraso after shave cream.
Proraso label the tub as a pre-shave cream; but market it on their web site as a pre/post cream. I found it a little too oily as a post shave cream for my oily skin; I like the Proraso After Shave Cream lotion better (labelled 'Liquid Cream After - Shave' on the bottle, listed as 'Proraso After Shave Cream Lotion' on the web page.Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
