I use it in my preshave. It's a mixture of Noxzema (the 2oz size) with 5 or 6 drops of :glycerin; almond oil; grapeseed oil; and tea tree oil. It makes a very nice preshave and one that's a lot less expensive than brand names.

just got a bottle today and mixed a few drops with my CF cream, I didn't notice a significance improvement.
However, since it cause no harm, I might as well add some every time.
If its not helping why use it? Seems a waste to me.. (I think CF has Glycerin in it already which would explain why u didn't notice an improvement)
In my limited experience, I've found it helps sometimes. Experimentation is the rule of thumb.
QUESTION: In what aisle/section in CVS may I find glycerin? I've looked several times, but never found a bottle labled as such. Are you folks "dual purposing" personal lubricants or what?
No! I've already got twelve toothbrushes, because every time I go in the pharmacy, there's a girl serving. I have never actually bought a tube of KY Jelly.... is that what you mean?.... not for me or anyone else, but my guess is you've probably just inadvertently made a major discovery here. Maybe someone here will be able to sneak some into his scuttle(!) and tell us the result.
I thought Astroglide was a silicone preparation?!? I have been using both glycerin and Lanisoh.... the lanisoh is so thick it is VERY hard to get it to mix into my lather. I guess I need to heat it first, but that would move my pre shave prep from 5 minutes to 15 at least LOL. I'll have to try the Astroglide or maybe WET. At last, another use for those bottles of lube! Hee hee...
