I love the Cade soap and balm, soap is cheap, but the balm is around 28 bucks, but worth it IMHO, it's the go to Friday shave!

I would highly recommend the Castle Forbes Sandlewood/Cedarwood Balm. I hate cedarwood (I live in a place where I am surrounded) but this balm is outstanding. I hate the smell everytime I use it but I still use it. Don't let the sandlewood tag discourage you....I smell nothing but REALLY strong cedar. (UGH) As far as nourishing balms go....it is the bees knees.
Once I get a few more suggestions, or not, depending on how forthcoming they are, I will post a list and compare them to the cedarwood.
It is that good!
Its not that the cedar scent is that bad...I just smell it every time I step outside and grew up smelling it so the last thing I want is it on my face. lol
L'Occitane Notre Flore Cedre
I've owned mine since it was first introduced, and always pair it with Castle Forbes Cedarwood and Sandalwood shaving cream (much more a "soap", than a "cream", but that's a different thread, in a different forum).
PS: I once had the opportunity to try the Castle Forbes Sandlewood/Cedarwood aftershave balm, and loved it. I guess it's a "YMMV" thing.
