Default Need some fancy bottles for AS and Cologne

Do you guys have an idea of what search term I would use to find nice old fashioned bottles to put my aftershaves, colognes, oils, etc into. I dont want anything feminine like a perfume bottle, but something very nice and reusable would be nice and help add some class to my bathroom.

    JL,

Look on eBay...you'll find some antique cologne/eau de toilet bottles. Also, you can try kitchen ware/import stores....no, really! Some carry "decorative" small oil/vinegar bottles that are just plain, colored/clear glass with stoppers. You would just have to be careful dispensing, as there would not be a shaker/spray top.

How is his bay rum? Or is it worth the price just for the bottle?

Try "barber bottles" on ebay. I had that as a search and there are some beautiful bottles. However, if you're like me, the ones you want will end up going for $300 or more. I couldn't justify it when there are so many other shaving toys out there.

I'm going to get a bottle for witch hazel made by a woman in VT. I have a coffee mug made by her. Before you get excited it's not the typical artwork on her ceramics. I lean toward the twisted.

She told me if you put something alcohol-based in them you may want a cork or rubber stopper.

Yeah these are a bit disturbing Interesting style though and I can see how it can complement certain straights... probably not my cup of tea though

I tried to get her to make a shaving mug but she's cutting back her production The coffee mug (one with the spider on it) I have is too deep for a shaving mug. (Hmmm maybe with my Vulfix 38? ) Her small bowls are 3" deep with a 4" diameter and the only other mug/cup is the espresso (2"x2"). Oh well.

Actually he will sell you the bottles empty and without labels.

Low brow post: I picked up some pretty sweet bottles that included bar style pour spouts at the dollar store.
    Yup One buck!
They were glass with some purdy flowers on them.
I am using them to present my home made bay rum.
