Default comments i have received while wearing lilac vegetal.

i've started wearing lilac vegetal more recently these last few days.. in the past i have had people tell me i smell lovely, like a salon, like a dry salad, and now the most out there comment ever.. play-doh!

yup.. a lady has said i smell like play-doh..

i'm not really sure how i feel about lilac vegetal.. it's a nice sweet smell.. but certainly not very masculine..

what kind of comments have you guys received?

I never wear after shave but based on the reactions I get from women when I wear a bowtie I suggest you be very wary of anything that gets reactions.

Try applying a light scent of baby powder and remaining faithful to the wife . . . takes rigid discipline. I won't wear that again unless I get divorced. Women have strong reactions to scent.

    Default Lilac Vegetable

    Hello, Victor:

My dearly beloved and two daughters said Lilac Vegetable smelled like the stuff used in public toilets. So I bid adios to it.

    Regards,

    Obie

I use it occasionally. I've never had anyone comment. The first time I tried it I was reminded of rotting vegetation but after a minute or so I began to enjoy the scent. Not for everybody though.

I was really on the fence about the scent when I sampled some at Rasage Poulin last year. It does have somewhat of a feminine scent, I suppose. However, my wife took one whiff and declared that she is allergic to it (she is allergic to lilacs, I assume there is real lilac in the formula too), so that pretty much settled it for me.

My wife and daughter asked if I had rolled in our cat's litter box.. so it is no longer a part of my rotation.

The YMMV definitely applies to scents. I read a thread about Osage Rub and went to the local beauty supply and spent five bucks on a jug of it. I gave it to a buddy the next day and he hated it too.
