GO!
For the last several months I've been experimenting with various products that I think fall under the yuppie category. So I thought I'd mention them here.
The first one I'd like to say a couple of words about is an aftershave made by a company called Code SC (SC= Skin Care). They have quirky catchy names for their products, though this one is simply called "Go!". It's a fair bit more expensive than what most of the members are used to - I paid $15 for the 2oz jar (I already designated it as a yuppie product).
It's made in US (WA iirc) and it's organic, so I don't think the price is outrageous considering the product and the target market.
Here's a picture of it and the webpage:
The consistency is kind of a creme, i.e a slightly thicker than the typical aftershave balm. It has a very botanical smell, it basically reminds me of when I was a kid and was spending my whole days out in the field with my grandfather. I think this is simply a result from the product being made with wild plants (I won't bother you with ingredients, since they're probably available on their website).
It absorbs pretty quickly and it's not oily or heavy. It's also kind of astringent.
I actually quite like it and probably will buy more when I run out of it.
My order also came with samples of their preshave oil and shave creme, I'm not a shave oil and shave cream person, but I gave them a try once - worked rather well I must say, I had a fantastic shave, better than my standard ones.
Anybody else tried that?

Thanked: 1195lol Just for clarification, what constitutes a "yuppie" product, and is being a yuppie product a good or bad thing?

Thanks, Ivan. I'm going to put this on my "Try next" list... always searching for the perfect balance of moisture and astringent to keep my finicky skin happy.
