In honour of our first snowfall (or as SWMBO calls it, anemic rain), I brought out royalty.

Although Grey Flannel contains neither anise nor lavender (see here, for details), it complements perfectly the QED Anise & Lavender shaving soap. I don't own any "plain" lavender shaving soap, or cream, but I imagine the pairing with either would be equally good. Likewise, the Grey Flannel aftershave balm -- the aroma is wonderful, and it soothes-and-moisturizes like "gangbusters"! It's always a pleasure to use these products -- they might "date" me to the mid-70s, but I've always believed them to have been equally so forty years earlier, as well as today, forty years later.
Smooth shaving!
I enjoyed it. Have been looking for more old school scents lately. Kind of over the sweet unisex smell of most of them atm. Might have to try the aramis and havana as well.
Seven Old Goats!! Yup, I didlen't stutter. From a local Mexican grocery.

A simple but pleasant, similar to, but stronger than "Granny Juice/ 1711."
Cheap too!
