I bought the two Simpsons products several years ago from Fendrihan (CA) -- at that time, they didn't have a US presence -- and paid more than I'd wanted to, plus the international shipping. Having said that, I was -- and remain -- happy with the purchase.
Both are, as their names claim, "luxury" items, and each one is a real Brylcreem ("a little dab'l do ya"). The shaving cream explodes into lather with just a dribble of water, and the ASB moisturizes with the best of them. My only "caveat" is that the shaving cream is of the looser variety, rather than the harder/thicker Castle Forbes or Salter offerings; as such, it's easy to use too much of an expensive product.
In addition to their high quality, I wanted "unscented" (actually, they're very lightly scented), in order to use some afterscents that didn't match or complement my other shaving soaps/creams -- Yatagan (which has a strong celery note), Cafe Noir/Animale (gourmand coffee/chocolate notes), and several others.
I don't use them often (enough)... but when I do, I'm never disappointed.
EDIT: I completely flaked-out on the Giorgio for Men. ROTFL! Anyway, in a word, it's the 1980s: as one Basenotes reviewer wrote, it's a "powerhouse scent" -- another one that doesn't "play well" with aromatic shaving creams or soaps. It might be from Giorgio of Beverly Hills, but it always makes me think of Miami Vice. Great sillage and longevity, and I really like the smell. Here in South Florida, it's a year-round scent; elsewhere, it's probably best left for summertime (YMMV).
As with the Simpsons products, I don't use it often (enough)...
