In decades of trying many products for wet shaving, I have to say I always seem to come back to Proraso Green and think to myself, "Wow, what a great shave". I guess everyone has a product that just agrees with their skin. Proraso Green happens to agree with mine. I do prefer their shaving Cream over their Soap. The Cream is bit more "slickery" and protective of my skin. Never any razor burn or irritation.

If you saw the thread "Clubman Friday" recently you know I have been experimenting with a "barber trick" to calm down Clubman Lilac Veg aftershave. I put so much on yesterday in testing it that I could still smell it this morning, so I had to continue one more day.
