Naw, it was cheap aftershave back in the day too.. Everyone just likes it now because it reminds them of "back in the day"..

As I remember, Brut came out in the 60s. If they are still making this product, someone has to be using it.
Well, I was never a big fan of Brut. I think I used the deo before. Actually for most of my life I never used aftershaves. My post shave was splashing some water on face. I was not a fan of colognes or EDTs. However, I like the aromatherapuetic effects of splashes. Clubman makes me feel like I mean business and gives confidence. Old Spice just makes me feel like I'm young again. The more expensive brands have their effects as well.
I'm wearing Brut right now and I'm 36. Reminds me of thinking I was the man at 16 when driving my Camaro around...
I think I used Yardley when i was 16... I can't remember the type though.. Smelled like a bag of bung holes when i tried to go back to it.. I think tastes change over time
The aftershave balm is pretty good, IMHO.

I've been a Brut man most of my days, but, then again, most of those were using cartridges and not knowing there is a whole wonderful world of aftershaves and colognes that exists outside of the drug store aisle. That being said, I do still have a bottle of the cologne and some deodorant in my medicine cabinet.
