One of the 7/8 Ralf Aust razors is still on my 'to have' list. Problem is that it's not the only one I want 'to have'...

I might have to take better pictures of this one. Brought to you by Esbjerg.

As promised, a few more pictures. CM12 on the Nexus 9 is acting up with the camera, therefore the images are not too great. But the razor is ;)

How would you rank this razor robin? Top 10 of all time or top 3 of modern production razors. The only reason I ask is if I were in the market for a new razor it would be a RA.
It works. That's all I can say. It works out of the box like any Aust or Revisor I've ever tried. You can buy an Aust with confidence.
So what is the connection between RA and Esbjerg???? I have never seen this before and was under the impression a Esbjerg was a Austrian made razor. I know Austria is a German speaking country but I guess maybe RA has that connection to Esbjerg razors maybe.
Either way Robin, that is one nice RA for sure.
To Grazor..............I have a few RA razors and they are without a doubt maybe to me in the top 3! But to date the others I have are Dovo; Boker; Revisor; PRC; and RA. But my cheapest razor a plain ole round toe 5/8 RA with black acrylic scales is my best performer hands down!
That is a very limited edition made for Esbjerg by Aust. Koraat makes razors for them as well. All limited editions, all with some sort of twist. Like the silver plaque made in Vienna by some of their finest silversmiths.
If you like elegance and style, Esbjerg are a company well worth watching.
Vienna is always worth a visit, and their shop is really beautiful, and extremely well stocked.
