Bruno's Blade Club
This thread is devoted to the semi-finished Blades that Bruno makes available for others to finish polishing - the intention is to show how the finished blades turn out. Here's mine a 7/8" in rams horn scales - please add photos of your projects as they're finished.

Anxiously awaiting the posty with this my monkey tailed "Brunoblade" so my own little custom adventure can start.
I just love the fact that Bruno creates an opportunity for anyone to have a decent shot at a full custom for a fraction of the cost by doing the base metal work for those of us without the access to the equipment to forge & temper a custom blade.
I only hope I can do it the justice it deserves.
Now we know there are plenty more Brunoblades out there both old and new,
so show us your work so we can all enjoy the razor porn and check out the competition.

It might be fun to show the construction process of creating your own razor from a BrunoBlade, so that's what I'll start here. ATTN MODS: I promise not to clutter the thread with excessive posts and dreck. Just the guts to show the steps one takes to make a wonderful shaver from the stock Bruno provides.
The attached pic is what your blade looks like when you receive it from Bruno. There was a lot of collaboration between us in determining the style of blade he'd make for me, which made me feel like I'd had as much to do with the razors creation as I possibly could without a forge :). I've got a lot of hand sanding ahead...starting tonight!

Love the shape of this one, just superb. Looking forward to watching the progress. I'll try to do the same when mine arrives but you'll be a few steps ahead of me.
Also looking forward to seeing what shape scales you go for with this blade!
