    Default Twins Jernbolaget together again.

    Hello all.

For some time ago I got a gorgeous SR Jernbolaget with ivory scales and a very nice shaver. Faux frameback I think.

A few months ago lurking at antiques I saw a strange box.

    I couldn't believe when I opened it.

Another Jernbolaget almost identical. I left the store really glad with a package embraced.

These two razors are very similar with ivory scales and same ground. There is a tiny difference in how scales were rounded and that´s all.

Now in my rotation I have these fantastic razors and I always think which could have been theirs lives until they met again.

Oh my goodness me, that is so so cool...

I just saw this thread, I LOVE the Swedish framebacks and faux framebacks, the design is really appealing to me...

Just joined the Swedish Club with a trio of Joh. Engstrom that I received today. A frame back and a pair of 11/16. Managed to take the frameback and one of the twins for a spin...damn great shaver!!! Really sharp out of the box although the seller on ebay didn't really describe it as shave ready...

Beautiful conditioned blades; no rust/ pitting of any kind....the seller said that it comes from the 'dry' state of Colorado which might explained the condition. Intended to use it and keep it nice and shiny for many years to come...

Any chance of the trio's scales made of ivory instead of bone? Does anyone with a similar set knows?

    Cheers

    Hi!
I am new at this forum. Very nice razors and they are in wonderful condition.
I have started a collection of my own, most swedish Eskiltuna and some German razors. I got a question for you all!

My favourite razor is a J.a hellberg Eskilstuna it is ingraved with flowers and a profile of a boy/man, it looks like turtle shell but i`m not sure, the blade is ingraved with
eskilstuna Garanti 5år and some sort of signature with initials and crossed arrows. If anyone has any ideas about age and material I would be happy, also if anyone can teach me to date it. Thanks Kind regards Björn
