I just love shoulderless razors! This one of the “Rattler” by Joseph Elliot’s. At least 5 others manufacturers were producing "Rattler" razors.

Here's one I've got. Spanish point, shoulderless, about a half hollow.
A little old Sheffield steel as well...
Hope this is the right pic...
I have a confession to make: I am a shoulderless razors addict!
Here is my first: W&B Extra Hollow Ground. Smoooth shaver!

Heres my DOVO Bismarck, from The Invisible Edge here in the UK. Its a great shaver, probably my best, and I absolutely love it..!
I only have one. It is a Wade & Butcher. I like it and would love to have more.
I bought a lot of 7 razors for $20 (roughly $2.86 per razor) a while back from a local antique shop and this 5/8 OVB (Our very Best) 385 by Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. was in the lot that shaves pretty nice.......a real steal for the price!
Just a few weeks into the joy of straight razor shaving, still a rookie, I got a Revisor 6-0004 6/8 with black scales.
I don’t have any pictures yet and I could put the sales pics here but that doesn’t count in my book. I will try to post them here soon.
But I really like the shoulderless design. When combined with a thumb notch that’s even better. The sleek look catches your eye but also when cleaning the blade the absence of a shoulder let’s you wipe the blade easier.
Thanks,
Paul
Here is mine it is a half hollow Wade and Butcher. I put a set of Osage Orange ( hedge apple ) scales on it. It is my favorite. I think they are easier to hone. The wood is much nicer than the pic shows.
I have only been a straight razor shaver for a month or so but I am hooked on the shoulderless design.
My Revisor is my first shoulderless.

I am not quite sure if my Wacker 6/8 Antik (the blond) really qualifies.
Anyone?
Paul
A few newer ones :)
Here's one which qualifies: Wallace Armer of Schenectady NY 9/16 round point:

...and here's one which doesn't really, but you get the idea: Joseph Fenton 6/8 barber's notch (sort of):

Obviously it needs some attention, but I have shaved with it and it's a satisfyingly hefty brute to use.
This cleaned up well and shaves just as good. I like how it feels in my hands even though I'm new to this
Does it count if I ground the shoulders off.
So here is a before and after of my shoulderless.
Time to revive another thread!!!
Here is my Robeson "Robeson's Best" that is one of 2 shoulderless razors I own, the other is a Frederick Reynolds full wedge shoulderless (duh).
My humble submissions:

Shoulderless - my preferred and, IMHO, the most elegant blade form for a straight razor.
The 2 currently in my rotation (well, the Frenchie gets preferential treatment these days..) are the TI Crown and the Dovo Bismarck below:

Yes! Shoulderless!

I will have to get a better pic for this thread, but this is the only one I have now of my Dovo Flowing. Best of both worlds, shoulderless and a worked spine.
