For all you who love a shoulderless razor post pictures here! Any razor without a shoulder is welcome! I'll post pictures of mine later.
Well here goes! The first is a Frederick Reynolds and a Wade & Butcher concave grind, sometimes called framebacks! the second is a Boker extra hollow ground and a Thistle Cut. The third is a J.R.Torrey and a W.B.Co. Toledo blade! The last picture is my first and favorite shoulderless. It is a Wedgeway Army Navy!
all are 5/8s except the concave grinds which are 6/8s
The last two are actual framebacks for comparison to the concave grinds for those who don't know the difference!

OK, this one I just received yesterday. It is a Klas Tornblom ( it needs two little dots over the first o ) Eskilstuna Sweden!
So, if this thread is any indication, crichton and I are the only ones who like shoulderless razors?
By the way crichton, I really like the looks of the Simmons hardware razor!! If you ever decide to get rid of it contact me first!
Well I have a few but this is a favorite
This ones on the way. MT. Lebanon Peter Ferris. Anybody else got one of these? I had never seen one.

Just sold an Erik Anton Berg. I have a Torrey.
Here's my Bismarck 7 day set.
:bow:bow
NICE!!!!!!!!!
Hi - I do have a few of this type of razor but have always known them as 'Bismarck' style blades. I guess this is another of those questions of differing nomenclature! I looked on this thread expecing to see 1790's-ish pieces with no shoulder or indeed 'drop' to the blade (the thing I term a 'shoulder' simply because of the shape). So what could my version of shoulderless blades be called for a club name?
Nice Bismark set - are you able to keep them evenly sharp?
Yes, once I got them all honed they seem to be waring at about the same rate. I only use them about once every couple of months. Each blade in the set had a slightly different "personality", some honed up in nothing flat and others took a bit of work to get them shave ready. It's a awesome set.
My very neat pipe razor that shaves well and emits a very high pitched sound everytime the razorblade is handled:
I've been meaning to post this one for a while. A nearly 15/16 L. Stautz & Co. Stamped SOLINGEN GARANTITO on the reverse.
My entry to the gang. I'll try to get a better pic later
Bob
Here's my entry, shoulderless razors have fast become my favorite .. that and the spanish points, two of these are a combination of them..
1) 5/8 Founder's razor
2) 5/8 TTC Clean Shave (just got it today)
3) 4/8 Erik Antonberg w/ ivory scales (the one hawkeye sold!)
Nice looking razors!!
Well here's mine I picked up the other day. I had never seen one stamped C.R. Ern beforehttp://farm4.static.flickr.com/3171/...fc9ced99_b.jpg
Now that's a beautiful razor!:tu
Great looking blade AaronX!!
Welcome to SRP!
Just picked up another one, this one from Bill Ellis, stamped 9210 Craftsman on one side and ERN Wald-Soligen Made in Germany on the other. Looks like it previously had gold wash on it, but thats all but gone now.
come on gentlemen step right up, step right up. A troubling situation has arrived in the razor club and that is the use of thumbnail pictures. I know that some of you old timers still remember when the razor clubs were a thing of beauty! with large glossy pictures of razors and we viewed until our hearts content. but those days are through it would seem. I beseech all the members of the razor clubs to take the poll in the general section and vote to restore large pictures to our beloved razor clubs. It is up to us gent and together we can restore these clubs to there former glory!!!!!!

Nice additions Lee!!!
Hi. I want to join the "shoulderless Shaving Gang" and this is my first and only shoulderlless razor.
It's a Frederick Reynolds "Dart Razor", no rust, a bit of pittting but not on the edge. I like the weight and the size.
Got it duriing the weekend, did a bit of work on it "et voilą". Add to take the blade off to work on it and repinned it.
Got it shave ready and will use it tomorrow for the first time.
Two pictures for you, before and after.

Well, plus a bottom bullseye pin now.
The Electric razor ca 1890-1910. I think the sticker on the back of the box is pretty cool.
This is one of my shoulderless blades. Nice shaver.
