Here's my entry.
:lurk:
Here is a very nice Deluxe Barber that I scored from gugi (Ivan). It certainly seems to be one of the pre-1920 models. Even the coffin box is in great condition as well as the old wrapping paper that it was in.
Will it get me in the club? I also have an old Barber, not anything like this one though, I have a little story behind it and it was the first straight razor that I ever bought or had which I got about 17 years ago from an antique store for I think less than $10 but I didn't know anything about the world of straight razors back then and had no idea what I had, so actually it was one of the main reasons that I bought this one when I saw it.
:)
Some very nice entries there gents, and welcome to the clubhouse...
I hadn't seen the "anti-rust" before
Got the Bling Bling scales on that #222 :)
definitely some nice ones coming out now...
I just honed up my Shumate Ben Hur... That's a really smooth, nice shaver. I'm seriously impressed! :tu
Pics coming later... doing a family function now :p

The pitting isn't bad enough for me to concern myself with. The edge is fantastic though.
Here's my little workhorse.. the Shumate Tungsten

I am amazed with just how many models and styles Shumate has, seems like every other pic is a new one...
Why did Shumate call one of their models "antiseptic"? What made it antiseptic or was it just a marketing ploy?
