Lets start off with my new razor!
The wedge doesn't have much of a wedge shape to it does it? I'm a fan of wedges being wedges. That said, that razor looks better than any razor I have!
Love that Damascus look...:tu I need to ween myself from FleaBay and save up for one of the beautiful customs I see on this and other sites!
Here's a few, all great shavers. Sorry for the poor photos, not my forte.

Sweet, now my RAD is really bad. I'm expecting the carbon fiber/brass tang Robert posted yesterday. It ships today. Hopefully I'll get it in 2-3 days.
This is my first entry in the "Robert Williams Experience". I hope to test-shave it by the end of the week.:Dhttp://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b3...brass_tang.jpg
Some beautiful razors here!!
I would love to see some more of Robert's work.
Keep them coming!
My second entry in the "Robert Williams Experience":tu
8/8 carbon steel spanish point with a satin finish. Polished micarta scales.http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b3...in_finish1.jpg
Wow! It must be great! I did the Jimi Hendrix experience once. Man was that weird!;)
I've had this razor for the better part of a year, but it's a PIA to photograph. So finally...This is a 6/8 French point high carbon blade. The scales are pre-ban elephant ivory. Robert scrimshawed my initials. I love this razor. Great shaver and the scales - fuggedoudit!

This is my Classic English 7/8 in Stag Horn. Although, not exactly mine (because it is going to be a present for my bro), I thought I should post it here, since it is at least for the moment in my possession. I even gave it a try and all I have to say is that my brother might eventually end up without a present at all. This is hands down the BEST EVER shaver I had! EVER!
Also, check the tang. It is etched and reads "Robert Williams, handmade".
P.S.: When it comes to RW's experience though, we should make a special note to the character of the man. Friendly, polite, helpful apart from an extremely skilled smith.

I like that a lot, I hope who ever ends up with it enjoys it!
8/8 wedge carbon steel mirror finish Spanish point, leaf & vine worked spine, buffalo horn with abalone inlay.
Sweet blade, Mark. Nice.

I just want to say that I placed yet another order to Robert. And from now on I won't let any other blade touch my face. RW FTW!!!
A 21st Century "Barbers Use" razor...
8/8, 1/4 hollow, burgundy micarta with brass wedge
The tang has his paddle tail design (and easily long enough for two fingers to rest on), and the thumb notch's ergonomics are really nice.

I love/hate coming to this thread because it's just covet covet covet all day long. :D
I've only been shaving for a few weeks and I've already have a bad case of RAD. Just sent an email to Williams to get a price quote. Already have the money saved and now just looking for details. Can't wait.
Robert is a gentleman and a scholar. Ever since I picked up his massive gleaming razor with hippo ivory scales, I've yet to put it down. Which has made sleeping rather awkward. But my shaves utterly superlative.
Hopefully I'll be getting my new custom from Robert in the next few months, and when I do, I'll proudly post the photos. All I'll say by way of a tease is it's something no one's seen before.
I received a package from Mr Williams today!!! Robert is a great guy to deal with and more then a pleasure to talk "razors" to. I have read about his quality and workmanship, I must tell you it's even better in person.
Now for the details.
13/16 full hollow - pre-ban ivory - linked arrow filework - Spanish Point, ebony wedge. http://images.paypal.com/en_US/i/scr/pixel.gif
The shave was unbelievable and smooth. I think it was Ray that wrote about Robert's extra hollow razors and he was right. simply awesome.
Got my first Williams Friday. It is second hand, but who cares.
This is a full wedge, oblique point, hammered tang and tail, worked spine, thumb notched mirror polished blade scaled in pre-ban Ivory with a brass wedge and adjustable pins and an extended tail.
I can tell by the style that is an older razor. It still has that slightly rough look but just adds to the manly primal battle axe look and feel of the razor. The blade is massive. Aside being 8/8, it is thick, over 1/8 inch wide at the spine and is very heavy in the hand.
I gave it a full run on the stones to refresh the edge. Very nice shaving razor and it looks super. The white ivory scales contrast the blade style nicely. Got another Williams forge fresh on the way to compliment this one.
Here is my first Robert Williams razor and entry into the club. It is a 13/16", 1/4 hollow with micarta scales.

Shaves great too.
Got this one a few weeks ago. 8/8 barber notch, mirror finish, hollow grind in abalone. Having an old razor and a new razor, I can say that while both are nice, you can clearly see the effect of experieance on the newer razor. I think it shaves better as well.
Here is mine.. solid laminated mother of pearl
I finally got mine :)

Hi everyone. :) (I'm a newb here and this is my first post. I'll find where to introduce myself properly after this. Apologies if I'm violating any protocols.)
This is a Robert Williams I bought from shavingshop.com that's part of a series he does for them. It's an 8/8, half-hollow grind with imitation black marble scales. It's shown here in its box with the little Allen wrench that comes with it to adjust its pins:

While it's far and away the largest and heaviest razor I have, it sure doesn't feel that way. It sits nicely in the hand, and feels quite maneuverable. Not much else to say except that I love shaving with it, and feel very fortunate that I could get something so lovely and functional.
Welcome to SRP. You are starting out with the best you can get..... assuming you are 'starting out' ? Robert makes razors that shave as good or better than they look. :tu
