That's a Pakistani made razor. Looks great but cannot be made shave ready. I went through a few before giving up. The blades have too many cracks and separations along the bevel. I never got past bevel setting but I doubt they'd hold an edge if you could get one. There's a long thread here about these razors.
Crikey Gary there's some nice razors you have :)
jealous ? me ? you bet :)

I got my Livi from SRD...I am glad that I did. I shaved with this beauty a few time and love the feel. It is really smooth

Recently got myself a Livi. She's dressed up in some gorgeous buckeye and gave me a very nice shave on her maiden voyage!
Here's the first pic, I'll put up more soon!

8/8 with Takeda steel and buffalo horn. The steel has a wonderful colour that I can't even begin to capture.
Really beauthiful and just gave me a wonderful shave.

Not been in this corner for over a year now. Thought I should add my most recent addition to the club. Received it for my 40th birthday a year ago.

I probably should've waited until it actually arrived, but I simply couldn't.
This razor has been intriguing me ever since I started out with straights.
For some reason I never actually got myself to order it.
I suppose it had to do with the 30-60 days of waiting for it;)
Well, I couldn't resist anymore, and this fine little(?) piece of shaving equipment is finally gonna come to my shave cave!
I've borrowed a couple images from SRP, I hope that's alright.
I hope that is alright.
Thanks Don and Lynn for helping me out with this order, great service Gentlemen:)

Congrats Birnando! Amazing razor!
B.
I thought I would post just a couple more shots of the Snake.
It has finally arrived!
These quick shots does show one thing the SRD-shots does not; it's size!
This thing is huge.
I have a few big razors in my collection, but this thing is quite simply massive.
In these two shots I have put it next to a 6/8! ERN Master that arrived in the mailbox along with the snake.

Holy crap, that thing is a monster! :) Congrats!
Congrats Bjørnar!
That is a impressive razor, in more than one way :) The ERN looks like a toy next to it :D
That's a razor Sweeney Todd would be proud of. It would be great using it myself but if a barber came at me with that I would be making a quick exit.
Lovely Birnando, :dropjaw:
All the best and I wish you many happy shaves with this Livi work of art.

This morning I shaved with my first straight razor: a Mastro Livi New Grind, with Bois de Rose scales. I'll post a pic or two when I get a chance.
Cheers,
Jack
Gee Livi makes some fantastic straights. My three are a little plain compared to some of the ones here but I'm happy with them.

You lucky gentlemen!
Would you believe I live just few miles away from Mastro Livi shop and I don't have one of his razors? I know, shame on me!
Mastro Livi's straight razors are at the top of my "dream list" and, although it is now seven years I am into straight razors, I don't have one. But I know I will have one, soon. I have to!
I just know I will be part of this club, sooner or later! :-)
Finally after 40 days my Mastro Livi set arrived. To bad I have to wait for my beard to grow out again befor I can try it.
It's a 7/8 french point in stainless with cocobolo scales with mother of pearl inlays. It's complemented by a matching brush also made by Livi and a "custom" stand in what appears to be brass (looks a bit darker than regular brass). The Mastro Livi staff isn't fluent in english so after several emails explaining how I wanted the razor and brush to lokk I just asked them to make a cool stand. And in my opinion he delivered.

So, this is a LWR-34 8/8 Mastro Livi Kamisori, with an occidental (western) grind.
Got it last week, had 5 shave sessions since then. The only other razor i own is a 50mm Iwasaki Kamisori, and they are both very different, but really close if you know what i mean ;)
Does anyone have the small Livi custom? It looks to be about a 1 1/2 blade. I'm interested in how it performs.
Thanks.
Pyrate, that looks awesome. Can't wait to hear how it performs!
Here is my test drive! I have to say I love it already. Can't wait to see if I can carve the shamrock in my beard for St. Pat's like I traditionally do.

I am very happy to announce I will be soon part of this Club. My Mastro Livi razor is in the making and, I don't care about time, I will soon have a Mastro Livi.
