Found an other 5/8 Candidius, it's different from the one I posted before. I will show you both razors, I think you will spot the differences.

I also found a second large model Candidius. The first one I rescaled in snakewood and de second one in ebony. De second one is larger than the first one and has Solingen on the backside of the tang. De second is 1/4 hollow and the first one is more wedgy. This probably means that there were at least two production runs.

@ tonybee: Thanks for sharing these nice pictures. Interesting observation you made about the hollowness of the rescaled ones. Those are similar to the ones I have.
The first set you posted pictures of have truly awesome original scales! Love original scales with a metal inlay!

Finally got around to honing this, and boy what a shave. Quite hefty and wiped away 4 days growth with no resistance. Beautiful streaked horn scales. Basically as found, but she is definitely gonna get some attention to make her look pretty. My new favorite, a keeper for sure.Attachment 201204
Hadn't had time to shave for near 2 weeks, the Candy wiped it off no problem. Have another on the way which looks good in photos, will post pics when it arrives.
After a brief clean, looks to have never been honed.

Purchased as a lot of 6 razors, the other 5 are toast.
Beautiful streaked horn scales, haven't honed it yet but going by the other one should take a great edge.
@ Grazor: thanks for posting those nice pics.
Keep going like this and soon you'll have a 7-day set as well.
Kindest regards, Jazor.
