This is a pair of quarter hollow Mappin & Webb razors in black horn. They measure about 9/16. A pro to the heavy grind, you probably could do a resto (the blades have black areas, see photo or request more), but I'm hesitant with such a small blade. A con to the heavy grind - small width + heavy grind = hone wear.

On an interesting note, check out those finger notches - two on the bottom (with jimps) and one on top (no jimps). I also think I recall hearing that these once belonged to Lynn; maybe he'll drop by to confirm or deny.

I do remember shaving with these, but I don't remember how long ago that was. Let's call them not shave ready, but maybe you're in for a surprise.
