Here's another sought after and hard to find high-end Solingen brand, Ed Wusthof - Trident. Nowadays they are well known for their cutlery, but back in the days they made fine razors, as well.

I am not sure what 1933 refers to, but since the company dates back to early 1800s I would think it's when they designed and possibly made the razor.

The razor is 5/8, full hollow, round point, almost no hone wear, and almost non-existent bevel, excellent workmanship that matches pre-WW2 Germany. The etching is clear, but it is somewhat worn off. The grind is shoulderless with jimps on the top and bottom of the shank.

The scales are yellow plastic with three pins and inlayed trident logo. I like patina, so I haven't polished the brass, but it's a 10second job if that's the preferred look of the buyer. The blade is centered and properly tensioned.

Nice shaver and looker as expected from the pedigree.

I'm asking $115 shipped in USA.
