    +1 with Gasman, if you are new, looking for a good razor and cheap to start or try shaving for the first item to see if you like it, you can't go wrong with this one! i wish it had been avail we i was looking for my first razor.

    5/8 good steel, clean, shave ready honed by a well know forum member and reputable seller, the spike point is not as narrow but a bit rounded already, so you don't have to worry about that... my advise is buy it
