Well, the time I knew was coming has finally arrived - my neuropathy has degenerated to the point that I can no longer use straight razors. Therefore, I will be listing my remaining straights, stones, and strops over the next several days.

Offering a very desirable 8/8+ Wade & Butcher 'For Barbers Use' near wedge with barber's notch, in original black horn scales and lead wedge. The blade is clean with some staining and pitting but none near the edge. The scales are the original water buffalo horn, they are in good condition, with some shrinkage and bug bites - mostly on the inner surface. The wedge is the original lead, in very good condition. The scales have been pinned using brass bullseye washers and pins.

The razor is freshly honed on Japanese natural stones: sharpening and pre-finishing on a Shinden Hon Suita using a full Asano Mikawa Shiro Nagura progression (Botan, Tenjyou, Mejiro, Koma), and final finishing on a Nakayama Asagi Tomae with Tomo Nagura slurry and then plain water. Honing was done with a single layer of .007" tape.
