    Default 11/16 High Class

Here we have a just shy of 6/8 C.F. Schwarts & Co. High Class in original box. Has been in my rotation for quite awhile now. It has a decorative spine and scales. The goldwash has rubbed off on the tang. There are some scratches near the pivot on the scales. Will be touched up for sale unless you would rather use your own stones. Asking $75 +$7 shipping CONUS

What do you think, could this razor be a choice for me as newbie? It seems to be a real beauty.

I dont see any reason it wouldn't be a good learning tool. Just be sure to ask him to touch the edge up for a newbie so its as good as it can be. Good luck. Nice looking razor too.

I agree with Gasman/Jerry-Almost any vintage Solingen razor, properly-honed, would be an awesome razor for a newbie. And this one's a beauty!

Jamie, it‘s time to swing the hammer!
Convinced getting a precious first stright razor at all, I kindly ask you to close the thread and giving me further details by PM.
Thanks Guys for your support making my decision easier. Found the forum yesterday and will stay for quite a while I think.

Did you contact the seller? He will mark it sold when you have an agreement. Good luck and enjoy that beauty.

Jep Gasman, contacted and transferred the payment a few minutes ago. I‘m so glad with this decision.
